The cottage itself was perfect for our family of four …two great sized bedrooms (one king, one queen), super comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Everything felt clean, warm, and welcoming.
Scott and Salma were amazing hosts - super accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. Mornings with coffee on the deck, being just steps from the beach, and long walks along the shore were exactly what we needed to unwind.
If you’re looking for a peaceful oceanfront getaway in Nova Scotia, this place is a gem. We’ll definitely be back.
From the moment we walked in, everything felt inviting and exceptionally well cared for. The cabin was spotless , and the wood throughout made it truly one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The layout was surprisingly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and settle in.
One of the biggest perks was the fully equipped kitchen. Having a full‑size fridge and stove made our stay so much more comfortable, especially for preparing meals without feeling cramped or limited.
And the view… absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to the sight of the ocean right outside our window was beautiful. You could sit on the deck and enjoy the waves crashing and the scent of the ocean for hours. The scenery alone made everything feel magical.
Overall, it was the perfect place to ring in the new year, peaceful, comfortable, and beautifully set against the ocean. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
There’s also a playground just across the street, which made this an ideal spot for us as a family with young children.
I just loved relaxing on the sofa while watching the ocean—it was so peaceful. The view is just perfect.
